Giants | Cofield would like a long-term deal

Jenny Vrentas, of The Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants DT Barry Cofield, who will be a restricted free-agent if there is no new collective bargaining agreement, said he would like to get a long-term deal but will not hold out if he only gets a one-year deal. "I'll be around, I'll be working out, and I love being with the Giants," Cofield said. "I wish it was a long-term thing. But the opportunity to be there for one year is a great opportunity."
