Packers | Will likely have to use a second-round tender on Jolly
Pete Dougherty, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports the Green Bay Packers will likely need to use a second-round tender on impending restricted free-agent DE Johnny Jolly to ensure another team won't sign Jolly should he be acquitted in trial. The tender carries a $1.759 million salary and means any team signing Jolly would have to give up a second-round draft pick. If Jolly's trial had ended before March 4 and he had been found guilty, the Packers might have been able to use a lower tender on him.
