Giants | Omenyiora says Sheridan not to blame for last season

Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants DE Osi Umenyiora said former Giants defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan should not be blamed for the defense's performance last season. "You can't blame the defensive coordinator," he said. "Obviously he made some bad calls, but if he had the players in place I think you can make up for that. But as team we just didn't play well at all," Umenyiora said.
