Buccaneers | Barry could become DC for Volunteers
Rick Stroud, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebackers coach Joe Barry has been contacted about becoming the University of Tennessee's next defensive coordinator. New Tennessee head coach Derek Dooley has contacted Barry twice since getting hired Jan. 16. Barry said, "Of course, I'm very interested. Yes, it's college football. But you're talking about the chance to be a defensive coordinator at a big-time program like Tennessee in the Southeastern Conference. It would be a good opportunity. We'll see what happens."
