Seahawks | Violated rules with Dungy

Jason La Canfora, of NFL.com, reports the Seattle Seahawks' contact with former head coach Tony Dungy about their team president position violated NFL rules, according to sources. Technically, Dungy still has a valid contract with the Indianapolis Colts, which does not expire until March. The Seahawks were apparently unaware of the contract and figured they could contact Dungy directly.
