Jets | Weatherford passes stress test

The Associated Press reports New York Jets P Steve Weatherford (illness) passed a stress test Tuesday, Jan. 12, and is expected to be fine for the team's postseason game this weekend. Weatherford said he will need offseason surgery to correct his rapid heartbeat. He said his condition is related to "the electrical setup of the heart" and has nothing to do with physical exertion. Weatherford practiced with the team Tuesday.
