Seahawks | Reach deal with Carroll

Adam Schefter, of ESPN, reports the Seattle Seahawks have reached agreement with Pete Carroll on a deal to become their next head coach, multiple league sources confirmed early Saturday, Jan. 9. Carroll has been promised full control, multiple sources said. Carroll was fully expected to be introduced by the Seahawks as early as Monday, Jan. 11, assuming they comply with the Rooney Rule this weekend.
