Phillies | Close to signing Taiwanese outfielder

Paul Hagen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports the Philadelphia Phillies are on the verge of signing Taiwanese OF Chia-Jung Lee. He would reportedly receive a $100,000 signing bonus. "We have some mild interest. We haven't made a decision whether to sign him or not," international scouting supervisor Sal Agostinelli said. Baseball sources described Lee as a marginal prospect.
