Dolphins | Grove used as a backup Week 15

Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano said during his press conference that he did not play C Jake Grove (ankle) in Week 15 even though he was active for the game because he wanted to give Grove another week of rest. Sparano said he would have used Grove if it were necessary.
