Nationals | Minor league Rule 5 players selected
Dave Sheinin, of The Washington Post, reports the Washington Nationals made three picks in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft, but one of them -- right-handed P Arismendy Mota, whom they took from the Chicago White Sox, was expected to be traded to the Chicago Cubs. The other two picks were lefty P Michael Wlodarczyk from the Tampa Bay Rays and OF Nick Moresi from the Houston Astros, both of whom are likely to begin 2010 in Class A.
