Rays | Sign six to minor league deals

Marc Topkin, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports the Tampa Bay Rays signed free-agent P Joe Bateman (Brewers), RP Jeff Bennett (Rays), P Jason Cromer (Rays), P Richard De Los Santos, SP Carlos Hernandez (Rays) and 1B Chris Richard (Rays) to minor league deals with invitations to Spring Training Monday, Dec. 14.
