Giants | Ross to see more time at safety

Michael Eisen, of Giants.com, reports New York Giants CB Aaron Ross has been playing safety since returning from a hamstring injury. Ross, who previously played cornerback his entire career, has been seeing time in nickel and dime defenses because CBs Corey Webster and Terrell Thomas have become entrenched as the starting corners. Safety appears to be the place the Giants need Ross most right now, as S Michael Johnson (groin) is questionable for Week 14. Ross said he is seeing more snaps each week, and he will take on whatever role the Giants ask him to. In regards to playing safety, he said he still has some things to learn, but he is getting more comfortable at the position.
