Browns | Owner meets with Holmgren?

Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports former NFL RB Jim Brown, who serves as the Cleveland Browns executive advisor, said Tuesday, Nov. 17, during a luncheon that owner Randy Lerner was interviewing someone who could take over as the team's head of football operations. "At this moment, right now Randy Lerner is meeting with one of the great football minds in this country," Brown said. "And if things work out, that person will come in to run the football side of the Browns." Brown would not disclose who it was. When somebody asked if it was former NFL head coach and executive Mike Holmgren, Brown responded coyly, "You said it ... and I heard it."
