Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing | Truex penalized

Bob Pockrass, of SceneDaily.com, reports Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. and co-owner Teresa Earnhardt were penalized 50 Sprint Cup points for Truex's car being too low during a post-race inspection at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday, Nov. 8. Crew chief Kevin Manion was fined $50,000. The loss of points drops Truex from 24th place to 26th. Manion will remain on probation through Dec. 31.
