Browns | Owner says Mangini is safe

ESPN.com reports Cleveland Browns owner Randy Lerner said he is sick about the state of his team, currently sitting at 1-7, but he will not make a head coaching change. Lerner told the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Akron Beacon Journal he will not fire Eric Mangini during the team's bye week. Lerner did say he would like to bring in a "strong, credible, serious leader" to help run his team.
