Vikings | Injury Updates
The Minneapolis Star/Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings WR Chris Walsh (broken bone in jaw) is likely out this weekend and is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday. Walsh suffered a broken bone in his jaw, which is in the zygomatic arch near the jaw joint and surgery is necessary to put the bone back in place. WR Matthew Hatchette (oblique muscle) is day-to-day. If he cannot play, the Vikings will be thin at WR so Troy Walters and Joey Kent would be called on to contribute. CB Robert Tate (twisted knee) and CB Kenny Wright (ankle) are both expected to be fine. LB Dwayne Rudd (shoulder) will be a late week decision while S Orlando Thomas (scapula) is likely to take another week off.
