49ers | Lewis unlikely to land on IR

The Associated Press reports San Francisco 49ers SS Michael Lewis (concussion) is unlikely to land on the Injured Reserve list despite suffering three concussions this year, according to head coach Mike Singletary. The team hopes to know more information on Lewis' injury in the coming days. "As of right now the early prognosis is that he's OK," Singletary said. "We'll have to monitor that going forward. I want to listen to what they tell us after the testing and make decisions going forward."
