Vikings | Still Interested in Kennedy
John Clayton of ESPN reports the Minnesota Vikings are still interested in free agent DT Cortez Kennedy. They can offer him a starting job but can only offer him less money than what the New Orleans Saints could pay him as a backup. The Saints have been toying with the idea of paying Kennedy $1 million to come into a three-tackle rotation with La'Roi Glover and Norman Hand. Vikings coach Dennis Green is trying to rebuild his defense and would like to get bigger at defensive tackle. It's not clear if Kennedy wants to play for the offer being made, but Green is very convincing in selling these types of deals to veteran players.
