Dolphins | McDuffie Takes Pay Cut
SportsLine.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Miami Dolphins and WR O.J. McDuffie have reached an agreement on a new deal to restructure his contract. By doing so, the Dolphins have opened more than $1 million in additional room under the salary cap. McDuffie's base salary was set at $2.09 million this year, but it has now been reduced to $1 million, which is guaranteed money regardless if he isn't able to play or is released. He can earn another $1.35 million in incentives, with up to $750,000 coming in the form of receiving bonuses and $600,000 in the form of playing time incentives.
