Dolphins | Awaiting tests to see if two players have swine flu
Updating a previous report, Jeff Darlington, of The Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins are awaiting tests to see if two players have swine flu, but, at this point, no Dolphins players have tested positive for swine flu. CBs Sean Smith and Jason Allen felt sick late this week and spent the day in bed, according to sources. The players are still undergoing tests to determine the exact diagnosis, according to team spokesman Harvey Greene. Multiple sources said the Dolphins players were told at least two players would not attend the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 22, because of the swine flu.
