Chiefs | Many Options

According to the Kansas City Star, the Chiefs have plenty of options when it comes to replacing QB Elvis Grbac. One solution, as previously reported, is to stick with Todd Collins. GM/president Carl Peterson called evaluating Collins his first option. They could use their $6 million in cap space to pursue Brad Johnson, Doug Flutie, Ryan Leaf, Randall Cunningham or Trent Dilfer. "Free-agency is definitely something we will look at," Peterson said. They could trade for another QB, but as previously reported they are hesitant to deal away their first round pick which such a trade may cost. They could also select and develop a QB of the future in April's NFL draft. It won't be long until we know the team's choice.
