John Fay, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports there a large amount of players this year that participated in the World Baseball Classic before the season that have spent time on the disabled list this year. The list of players that have been injured are: New York Mets RP J.J. Putz, San Diego Padres SP Jake Peavy, Chicago Cubs SP Ted Lilly, Florida Marlins RP Matt Lindstrom, Houston Astros RP LaTroy Hawkins, Atlanta Braves RP Jorge Campillo, Mets SP Oliver Perez, Kansas City Royals RP Joakim Soria, Boston Red Sox SP Daisuke Matsuzaka, New York Yankees RP Damaso Marte, Toronto Blue Jays SP Scott Richmond and Minnesota Twins RP Jesse Crain.
