Raiders | Garcia plans to push, support Russell

Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports Oakland Raiders QB Jeff Garcia said he is going to support starting QB JaMarcus Russell and "push him as much as possible as far as being the best player he can be for the team." Garcia said he isn't there to coach Russell. "He has a coach, his coach is Paul Hackett," Garcia said. "I'm here to be support and add strength to the position, however that may be," Garcia noted. He also went on to say there isn't a player on the team that is OK with not being a starter.
