Padres | Geer hit with loss Wednesday

The Associated Press reports San Diego Padres SP Josh Geer (1-6) allowed his major league-leading 24th home run in a loss to the Florida Marlins Wednesday, July 22. He has given up a home run in eight straight starts. Geer lost his third straight start and fifth straight decision. He gave up two runs and six hits in six innings.
