Orioles | Bumbry, Flacco sign

Dan Connolly, of The Baltimore Sun, reports the Baltimore Orioles signed OF Steve Bumbry (Virginia Tech) and 3B Mike Flacco (Catonsville Community College) Tuesday, June 16. Bumbry will likely begin with Single-A Aberdeen and Flacco will likely be sent to the team's rookie level Appalachian League. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
