Giants | Cofield may have had microfracture surgery

Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants DT Barry Cofield (knee) may have had microfracture surgery on his knee during the offseason. Head coach Tom Coughlin was evasive when asked if Cofield had a microfracure surgery. "You know what? That's not going to come from me," Coughlin said. "He had a 'scope and he's doing well. You see him running."
