Astros | Backe returns to action Saturday

Houston Astros SP Brandon Backe allowed two runs on three hits over one inning of relief Saturday, May 30, against the Pittsburgh Pirates, according to The Associated Press. He walked none and struck out one. It was Backe's first game since being activated from the disabled list, and his first relief appearance since 2005.
