Dolphins | Starks' lawyer says arrest report ludicrous
Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports the attorney for Miami Dolphins DL Randy Starks vehemently denied allegations against Starks, and said the team has not disciplined him since his arrest. Starks was charged with aggravated battery early Sunday, May 24, after allegedly veering his slow-moving truck into an officer trying to stop him. The felony carries a minimum of five years in state prison and a maximum of 30. ''What's alleged in the arrest report didn't happen," attorney Ed O'Donnell said. "It's ludicrous. This is a decent guy who was arrested for one reason - he's in a big car, and it's a bunch of black guys in the car."
