Packers | Various Team Notes

Tom Silverstein of the Sporting News reports the Green Bay Packers are expected to tender WR Corey Bradford the lowest restricted free agency offer, which means another team can sign him for only a fifth-round pick as compensation. The team faces a tough decision on OC Frank Winters and his 1.86 million cap hit. They are confident in backup Mike Flanagan and it appears they can't keep both. Silverstein speculates, despite some potential interest from Astroturf teams, RB Dorsey Levens would probably not consider teams who play on the surface. He's had nagging knee and ankle injuries and playing on turf would greatly reduce his durability. The team may attempt to entice Levens to stay with the Packers after a contract restructure by including incentives to compensate him if he becomes the lead back again.
