Packers | More On Pederson

As a follow up to an earlier story, the Journal Sentinel reports the contract agreed to with the Packers by QB Doug Pederson is believed to be an incentive-laden contract near the veteran's minimum of $477,000 for 2001. Pederson has a good chance to be the team's No. 2 QB, but it's not guaranteed. CFL product Henry Burris will be in camp and coach/GM Mike Sherman has said he hopes to draft a quarterback and the Packers still could sign another veteran. Agent Ben Geller said four teams were very interested in Pederson, but the QB preferred to be in Green Bay.
