Packers | Team Notes

The Press Gazette reports as the Green Bay Packers prepare for next week's mini-camp coach Mike Sherman has some areas he'd like to focus on, after reviewing last year's game films. He wants to improve the red-zone offense which finished in the middle of the NFL, the success rate on intermediate third-down conversions (three to six yards) must improve as does the two-minute offense. More than 60 Packers players are expected to attend starting next week. QB Brett Favre will attend the mini-camp, but he'll take part only in the morning workouts. The Packers want to get a close look at CFL QB Henry Burris who is expected to compete for the team's No. 2 or No. 3 QB slot.
