Packers | QB Notes
The Journal Sentinel reports Green Bay Packers QB Henry Burris, who joined the team from the CFL, continues to work hard to earn his roster spot. The Packers saw enough of Burris' live arm, charisma and work habits to bypass drafting a quarterback. Burris is small and not all that fast, but he does throw a nice ball. "He's a talented kid and a hard worker," offensive coordinator Tom Rossley said. "But he's young and really raw." Currently veteran QB Doug Pederson is No. 2 on the depth chart, but the No. 2 and 3 QB jobs remain open. "I would say logically (Burris) can only be a No. 3 (this year), but who knows?" Rossley said.
