Lions | Backus expected to start at left tackle

Carlos Monarrez, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Lions OT Jeff Backus believes he will be the team's starting left tackle in 2009. "As far as I know, I'm a left tackle," Backus said. "We didn't draft a left tackle high so I'd assume ... I have no reason to believe I'm not going to be playing left tackle."
