Bears | Pace tried to get Holt to sign

Vaughn McClure, of the Chicago Tribune, reports Chicago Bears OT Orlando Pace said he tried until the last minute to get Jacksonville Jaguars WR Torry Holt to sign with the team while he was a free agent. "We were working on that for a while," Pace said of Holt. "But I think it's a good fit for him in Jacksonville. He wanted to be in warm weather."
