Panthers | S. Martin to battle at nickel cornerback

Steve Reed, of CarolinaGrowl.com, reports Carolina Panthers rookie DB Sherrod Martin played safety in college but the Panthers like him as a cornerback in the NFL. He is likely to battle CB C.J. Wilson for the team's nickel cornerback role this year. He should also see plenty of action on special teams.
