Twins | Morneau receives top Canadian honor
MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports Minnesota Twins 1B Justin Morneau has been named Canada's male athlete of the year by the Canadian Press. The award, formally known as the Lionel Conacher Award, has typically gone to hockey players. Morneau is just the third baseball player, along with Ferguson Jenkins and Larry Walker, to receive the award since it was first given out in 1932.
