Panthers | Talk with Vinny helped Williams improve

The Associated Press reports Carolina Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams had a conversation at the end of last season with now-retired QB Vinny Testaverde. While Williams wouldn't go into details of the conversation, he said: "It made me think about some things...That's primarily the reason I'm having the season that I'm having this year." Williams worked harder in the offseason, is in better condition and is stronger, which has made it more difficult to tackle him. During running plays in practice, Williams runs all of the way to the end zone after each play, regardless of where the team is on the field. He is now one of the hardest workers on the team in the weight and film rooms.
