Lions | Mini-camp Notes
Mike O'Hara reports for the Detroit News Detroit Lions Coach Marty Mornhinweg's agenda for this weekend's mini-camp has three steps. "The great value, especially with us, a new staff, is learning the scheme, offense and defense," Mornhinweg said Thursday. "Secondly, learn how we practice. Third, becoming acquainted with the coaches, with the new administration, with the new environment." Practices are in helmets and shorts, but no pads. CB Bryant Westbrook who is recovering from a ruptured left Achilles' tendon is expected to join his teammates, but he has not even started running yet. WR Brian Stablein remains unsigned, but he has signed a waiver and will take part in camp.
