Buccaneers | Hilliard denies he might miss rest of season

Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Ike Hilliard (head) denied a report that suggested he was still suffering from the effects of a hit he took to the head in a game last month. Hilliard said, "The quotes are correct, but there was nothing in my quotes that said anything about a concussion. I said I was dealing with some other stuff, wear and tear of the season. I did not say the word concussion." A report in the St. Petersburg Times' website Monday, Nov. 10, said "the hit that knocked Hilliard unconscious Oct. 19 could force him to miss some games and threatens to end his season."
