Phillies | To start with pinch-hitter in Game 5
Ken Mandel, of MLB.com, reports the Philadelphia Phillies will send a pinch-hitter to the plate when Game 5 of the World Series resumes Wednesday, Oct. 29, according to manager Charlie Manuel. However, OF Geoff Jenkins, OF Matt Stairs or 3B Greg Dobbs might not hit if Tampa Bay Rays manager Joe Maddon elects to bring in a left-handed pitcher out of the bullpen to replace RP Grant Balfour.
