Phillies | Hamels feels good Tuesday

Todd Zolecki, of MLB.com, reports Philadelphia Phillies SP Cole Hamels (elbow) threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings in a minor league game Tuesday, March 24, giving up one hit and striking out five. Hamels said his elbow felt great and he remains on schedule to pitch April 10 against the Colorado Rockies. He is also scheduled to pitch in another spring game Sunday, March 29, and in an exhibition game April 4. Pitching coach Rich Dubee said he noticed a slight increase in velocity on Hamels' fastball during his outing Tuesday.
