Cowboys | Bubble Players Look Good

According to the Dallas Morning News, a handful of players on the "bubble" helped themselves tremendously in the Dallas Cowboys second straight pre-season victory Thursday night. DE Peppi Zellner, returning from a knee injury, had two sacks, one that caused a fumble, and another tackle behind the line of scrimmage. Undrafted free agent CB Jason Bell may have locked up a roster spot with his special teams play. He blocked a punt Thursday that resulted in a touchdown by Cowboys S Earl Riley. RB Tony Taylor looked good. WR Reggie Swinton continued to make plays on special teams. Undrafted free agent LB Jamal Brooks continues to show the instincts to play all of the linebacker positions.
