Panthers | Tried to trade Lucas to Detroit

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Carolina Panthers tried to trade CB Ken Lucas to the Detroit Lions, but Lucas let the Panthers know he did not and would not play for the Lions. The Panthers may decide to release Lucas in the near future.
