Nationals | Perez refusing to report to Spring Training

Mark Zuckerman, of The Washington Times, reports Washington Nationals SP Odalis Perez is refusing to report to Spring Training until the team renegotiates his minor league deal. He said he will not accept another minor league deal with no safeguards. Perez can face disciplinary action if he does not report by Sunday, Feb. 22. The team is saying that they have written evidence that Perez signed their original contract.
