Browns | Injury Notes
Patrick McManamon reports for the Beacon Journal many of the Cleveland Browns injured players from the 2000 season are rehabbing just fine. "Everybody is ahead of schedule," Director of Football Operations Dwight Clark said. QB Tim Couch (thumb) has been throwing for two weeks while his backup Ty Detmer (Achilles') should be ready for mini-camp. OC Jim Pyne (knee) may not be ready for the first mini-camp but will return in time for later mini-camps. Only Errict Rhett (foot), despite doing great in his rehab, is a concern for the team. His type of injury takes a while to come back from and he is going to have the screws removed from his surgically repaired right foot in March. As previously reported he'll be limited for a bit after that.
