Phillies | Sign three to minor league deals

Alden Gonzalez, of MLB.com, reports the Philadelphia Phillies signed free-agent IF Jorge Velandia (Rays), SS Anthony Hewitt (Phillies) and P Jake Woods (Mariners) to minor league deals with invitations to Spring Training Thursday, Jan. 15. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
