Patrick McManamon reports for the Akron Beacon Journal Cleveland Browns WR Dennis Northcutt was back at practice on Monday, but he was wearing the red (no-contact) jersey. He will not play this weekend. WR JaJuan Dawson (broken hand) has been catching passes with a smaller, softer football. OL Ross Verba (back) wants to play in Friday's pre-season game at Washington, G Tre Johnson (knee surgery) is questionable and OL Jim Pyne's (ankle) status is undecided.
