Bengals | Team Notes

Geoff Hobson reports for Bengals.com head coach Dick LeBeau is busy checking out WRs at the NFL Combine. He says his top priority is improving the offensive production. He feels with Peter Warrick and a return from injury by Darnay Scott gives the team a good start at WR. LeBeau is also looking at three other Bengals WRs, Craig Yeast, Ron Dugans and Danny Farmer. Agent Mark Bartelstein, representing OLG Matt O'Dwyer said he and the team have had "conceptual" talks about his client. The agent said O'Dwyer would like to come back to the Bengals. Neither side is discussing numbers, but O’Dwyer is looking for a raise from his average salary of $1.3 million. The team starts informal workouts on March 12. QB Akili Smith and the team's other skill players should be there.
