Bengals | QB Update

Geoff Hobson reports for Bengals.com QB Scott Mitchell said he'll be back in less than four weeks from his ankle injury. Bengals trainer Paul Sparling, who has already ruled Mitchell out of the regular-season opener in 10 days with the high ankle sprain, says four to eight weeks. Due to Mitchell's situation, the team may look to add a fourth QB. The Bengals were in touch Friday with the agent for QB Scott Covington, whom they released earlier. They may also scan the waiver wire or look for a trade. The Steelers are shopping Kent Graham and Eric Zeier is on the bubble in Atlanta.
