Bears | A-Train Back At It

Chicago Bears.com reports rookie RB Anthony Thomas practiced Saturday for the first time since bruising his right knee on August 4. He participated in individual, 7-on-7 and a portion of team drills and is expected to practice with no restrictions by the end of next week. There is some concern about the Bears depth at RB with Marlon Barnes being cut, but coach Dick Jauron is counting on Thomas. "Hopefully Anthony will show a lot next week. I thought he looked good in practice today. We are concerned about it, but that's the way it has to go. That's where we are. There are really not a lot of other options there," said the coach earlier today.
